Neighbours sometimes fall out. Often, they sort the problem out and quickly makeup, but sometimes they need someone to help them to agree on a way forward.
We’re looking for people to join our Mediation team, who want to help residents settle disputes. You will be given professional training and achieve a recognised qualification in mediation.
You will work alongside a Places for People Group staff member on several cases per year. You will not be asked to help with disputes in your own area or with people you know.
As a volunteer, you’ll need to attend 5 days of training and complete eight hours of private study. After that, you’ll help assist in a few cases each year. We’ll also pay any out of pocket expenses.
